    PE - World Cup Day!

    Posted by Mrs N Lawday
Today, year 6 had a great time when a team came in to introduce the World Cup Fever! The day included a flag familiarization quiz and three challenges inspired by Erling Haaland, where pupils were tasked with a football themed obstacle course designed to test their agility, balance and strength; Harry Kane where they perfected their accuracy, coolness, and finishing flair with our inflatable target goal and Cristiano Ronaldo where they tested their power with a speed gun. The children got straight into the activities and they all thoroughly enjoyed the day! Mrs Lawday even got the highest teacher score with the Ronaldo speed gun!

    PSHE - Mental health

    Posted by Miss L Heward
Today we explored the definition of mental health and what good mental health looks like. We explored the balance between challenge and support and surmised that when challenge outweighs support that's when mental health issues can arise. Year 6 shared things they could do to improve mental health and we all agreed that sharing the issues will give us the greatest amount of immediate support
